Power Rangers: CN is based on Cartoon Network,happens in CN City (which features all characters from Cartoon Shows,Specials,Anime,Movies,Etc..,from 1992 to Now,even those that did not air are Cartoon Network),an evil force arrive to "attack" Cartoon Network City,5 new heroes arrive to make their defend,a building which include the morphing grid,they tap into it along with the power of cartoon network to become Power Rangers.
