- Chris Evans as Devon “Jason” Scott, the Red Ranger and the leader of the Power Rangers. Jason was a former Military Soldier and martial arts specialist who now works for the DIA. He is a talented martial artist but he was not very social, he likes being alone listening to music (Rock). Like his fellow future Rangers, he grew up and lived in the city of Angel Grove, with the participation of Angel Grove second degree. Jason gave a martial arts class at Ernie’s Juice Bar and Gym, a place Jason works alongside other young people. But one day, as Ernie emptied out, Jason felt himself being lifted and carried along stream of colored lights along with other teenagers. They landed in a pile on top of each other in a strange place. As Jason and the others examined their surroundings, a robot named Alpha 5 approached them. As Jason was taking all this in, an even stranger vision awaited him. One face emerged from a wall and introduced himself as Zordon and explained that Jason and the others had been chosen by him to fight evil in the form of Rita Repulsa. In order to do this, Zordon said he would grant the five teenagers the power to become a fighting force known as the Power Rangers. Thus, Jason became the headstrong and legendary leader of the Power Rangers and a formidable force of good against evil.
- Scarlett Johansson as Kimberly Hart, the Pink Ranger and is a Navy veteran and DIA OIG agent who is also in a relationship with Jason Scott. When she was ten years old, Kimberly's father died at the excavation site the day the burst of energy was released and her mother remarried a couple years later. That rapid change strucke her deep and affect her more than she's ever willing to admit. Before her familly was broken, Kimberly was a passionate artist with gymnastic aspirations. Now she copes with her grief under the guise of a rebel who doesn't answer to anyone and gets into trouble with people more often than none, And also, Thanks to Zordon, be able to become the agile and talented Pink Ranger.
- Will Smith as Billy Cranston, the Blue Ranger, a socially competent scientific genius who graduated from SIT at age 20 and designs gadgets and weapons for the military. One fateful day, when fellow classmate, Jason, finished performing one of his classes in Ernie’s Juice Bar and Gym, an earthquake began with Angel Grove. He found himself and 4 other teens in the Command Centre and within Zordon’s sight. Seconds later, he became the smart and mighty Blue Ranger, able to wield the Power Lance with ease.
- Angela Bassett as Trini Kwan, the Yellow Ranger, a police officer, who initially has to deal with her sexuallity of being into other women. A shy and lonely girl, Trini just recently move to Town and as such, she has trouble to fit in. Her antisocial antics make her a Freak amongs her clasmates, and even gets her in trouble sometime. In one unfortunaly event, she was humiliated in front of the class by one of the popular girls who tricked her. Only Kimberly, another social outcast, stood for her and defended her, while this costed Kim another saturday on detention, Trini showe her gratitude by spending detention with her, despite having done anything to deserved it. Trini and Kimberly became inseparable friends, Kimberly stood up for Trini when she need it like a big sister. Trini became more confident around Kimberly and look up to her. Because of her reckless attitude, Kimberly will go to detention often and Trini always showed up to show her support. One night, alone in her room, Trini started to hear a voice. it was very quiet and distant but it got stronger as the days went by. And soon enough,Due to Zordon's help, She became the fast and furious Yellow Ranger.
- Joel Kinnaman as Zack Taylor, the Black Ranger, a Vietnam veteran and mercenary leader who now stays home to take care of his mother who is diagnosed with cancer.
- Jason David Frank or Russ Bain as Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger, While he was a freshman at school, Tommy and his family moved to Angel Grove. He entered a martial arts tournament and won all the matches, But soon Rita Repulsa had noticed Tommy's fight with Jason and realized there was potential in the young man. So she put Tommy under a spell, and using the sixth Secret Power Coin - the Dragon Coin - she turned him to the evil Green Ranger. Luckily, the other rangers were able to break the spell before he destroyed Angel Grove. He is also the newest and most famous member of the DIA.

- Stephanie McMahon as Rita Repulsa - Rita was just a young sorceress from Eltar who was madly in love with the young Zordon and both loved the adventure and danger, so they created the six most powerful weapons in the universe, the Power Coins that allowed them to become the Power Rangers, the two lovers created a robot to help them and called him Alpha, the three saved the universe several times but Rita wanted more power because she thought that with her skills and Zordon's Power Energy she could become way stronger and save everyone while Zordon didn't have to face any danger, however, before see could, Zordon managed to arrest Rita in a dumpster where her powers didn't work. And now, after years of being trapped, two astronauts accidentally open the dumpster and let her free.
